Line EP Pro in the park?

Anyone skied the line ep pro in the park? if so, how was it? Ive decided im going to buy these, but im debating on whether to keep my k2 silencers and buy new bindings as well. Ideally id just get rid of the silencers and transfer the bindings over to the ep pro's to save a couple hundred bucks, but i'll keep them if the ep pro's are impossible in the park.

I really only go in the park if theres no powder to go hike to, so i really only ski park maybe 5% of the time. the rest is in the pow. In the park i never do rails or boxes so its really a matter of just having fun off the kickers.

Would i still have fun with the ep pros in the park? or should i keep my silencers and spring for new bindings?

i have skied the 07/08 ep pros in the park, but i just got the 09/10 ep pros and they are a lil stiffer the other years which makes them much better in skiing park, and i am going to ski park with them. over all i would say go for it and you will have a great time

he has a park ski, and wanted to know if EPs work in park, which means he probably wants a full out pow ski.

do you think when 2010s break in fully they will actually be any more noticably stiffer than 08s?  From what I have been told there is no difference while skiing(and nobody has said hand flexing either).

yeah prob just a lil stiffer, i have felt all three years, the 07/08 are definitely softer then the other two years,

The Ep Pro.... This ski is amazing anywhere, i have owned two pairs of them, and have been very happy with it. I got them because I saw Garrett Russell having the greatest time on them. Our biggest jump was 40 ft. this year, and they handled it fine, Rails are a little weird, but you definitely don't hang up on them, its like heating up the rail and rubbing butter all over it, so smooth. And for fun with butters, nose blocks, and presses are soooooo easy. It will take a little getting used to but its great for messing around.

Depending on how big and how good you are they may kill it in the park or they may suck. If you are a good park skier then they'll do great, but if you are just starting out then they will be a lot of work to spin round etc. I rode them last year and they were fun in the park but I needed another park ski but for 5% park I imagine they'll do fine. People do ride them as park skis.

it can be done, talk to A-call he rides his in the park sometimes. but usualy just as a joke. i ride my bents in the park some times as well. it takes some getting used to, you have to land every thing on the middle of the ski and boxes are super easy on them

Well its a no brainer then. Now all i need is $650. 

Can't wait to hike the cliff at Big White, CA! Lots of untracked pow up there with a little hike. Thanks for the help guys!

I skied Hellbents in the park once and if your asking if its weird having really fat flexible skis than its kind of awkward at first but you can butter stuff better but you cant spin very fast which bites.
