Now that I have said it myself, all you haters can promptly shut the fuck up.
On to business...
For the last handful of years, I have been quite the downloader. Games, movies, every program that I need, all for free and all obtained through torrents. I had always been careful too, with a solid torrent program, a nice block... the typical things that an experienced torrenter has to use.
After 5 years and billions of bytes stolen, I got a phonecall this morning form the phone company. I bet you can all guess what it was about, but for those who are clueless, it was about them catching me downloading 'The Hangover'. I am kinda pissed that this stupid movie is what sunk me, because it was shitty quality, and an overall shitty movie.
He threw some words around like 'Copyright Infringement' and '$250,000 Fine' and the usual bullshit that we all know about, and they said that if they caught anymore torrent traffic on my line they would revoke our DSL and fine me or something.
I know this isn't serious in any way really, but I have no choice but to stop downloading things...which makes me really pissed.
So, just be careful out there NS, I know everyone thinks they are a badass torrenter and all that, but don't think that you cannot get caught.
