Need a quick good way to learn spanish

pay 300 bucks for rosetta stone software, or find it on torrent if they have it.

this may be ns'ers but I am not rich nor poor. I do live out on my own in Sun Valley and need to know spanish for my job. Its sad for the manager not to know spanish here.

oh they definitely have a torrent for it. aparently its what the military and certain fortune 500 companies use to train people in other languages, according to the rosetta stone comercial.

keep it simple.  Try to learn some vocabulary relevant to your workplace.  You can easily find stuff all over the internet that will give you lists of vocab for different situations.  Then just learn how to use some simple verbs and you'll be on your way.  All the mexican's ive worked with can understand you just fine even if you don't say things properly as long as you can get the basic words in there.  Use spanish as much as possible and you can pick up the rest along the way with just a little bit of effort.  All the reviews of rosseta stone i've read said it really isn't that great and probably wont teach you a lot of the stuff you're going to need for your job.

You have such a similar icon to that Tosh guy who made the thread about the monster females. Even though it's jokes every time I see you post I remember that thread and it's images. Just thought I should let you know...

But either get a landscaping job where a lot of Latinos work and ask if they'll teach you while you all work.

Or just get Rosetta Stone 'cause it's the cool thing to do. I do actually hear that a lot of state programs are starting to buy it to teach all new employee Spanish since the language is becoming so prevalent all over the US.

It's terrible here in CA.  The fucking government is even considering bi-lingual signs, and they already have a bunch of bi-lingual shit.  It is really pissing me off.  If you come here, you should learn.  If independent companies want to do that, then fine.  My tax dollars should not be going towards helping kids in school learn because they just came across the border, a bi-lingual telephone service, or anything bi-lingual for that matter.

allright that didnt work exactly go to yahoos babel fish translator thing and enter in www.newschoolers.com into the translate a web page and choose english to spanish sorry hope it works

yea this whole thing pisses me off. we do more for the mexicans here in america then we do for the americans. I use to live in CO. Mexicans could go to the local college and take english lessons for free then me as a tax payer has to pay for a class to learn spanish. wtf. they come to our country and dont even care to learn how to speak in english. i swear it feels we are in mexico at time.s
