haha whattt? i don't see the connection between asking the widest point of the boot and "what is the last of the spk kaos?"

anyway are you asking about from the plastic exterior of the inner boot shell?

The last of a boot is the widest point of the boot, on the inside. So say I was planning on getting Foils, with a last of 100mm, but when I went to a bootfitter, I couldn't get Foils because the last of my foot is 104mm.

the Spk is either 106mm or 104mm cant remember which though sorry.

SPK Kaos is 103/104 depending on the size of boot.

I think last is right.  Waist is skis, last is boots(Lange comp 97mm last, solly falcon 98, FT and Il Moro 98, SPK is what people have said of 106 or something, solly never labels it).  Why though?  And on NS we classify it as "really big" last.

Keep in mind that the listed 'last' of a boot (92, 97, 98, 100, 102mm etc) is in a 26 or size 8 boot, and there is no prescribed way of measuring it, so taking a tape measure across your foot is not gonna help you much.
Instead of talking in mm I just think of parts of the boot as supper narrow, narrow, normal, wide and supper wide, then their is instep height, ankle shape, calf shape, ramp, toe box, arch more and more, all of which goes into getting a good fitting pair of boots.
sum up: Let the pros do it.

thats about the best way to look at it. as long as u have a good starting point a good fitter can make a boot work for you too. i like to find as many similarities between foot and boot, and work from there
