Replying to A question for t-shirt makers/screen printers.

Is there any way I can remove a screen print safely. I got tossed a really nice shirt from the Dakine rep. It's an American Apparel shirt that fits amazing. I just really don't like the screen print on it, but I'd still like to have just a plain black t-shirt that's soft and big and comfy.

So is there any way? I tried googling but it seemed all the people asking my question were dealing with a fresh screen print.
