The first one, the blue silverado is a CJ7 with a standard 6cyl 4.2l if im correct, later replaced with a 4.3l v8
The blue wreck you see was later restored for a friend, in poison green. it packed a chevrolet 4.3l V8.
some years later it was in a terrible accident, while driving, it ran over burning cinder from a cigarette and the wheels catapulted the cinder into the overpressure manifold in the fueltank, thereby setting the overpressured gasses on fire, the driver could put it on the roadside and tried to extinguishe it, but by then the heat had cracked one of the seams of the fueltank and now gas was leaking out. second later it caught fire and the whole rear end was burning away...
only think that could still be salvaged was the motorblock.
a lucky coincidence: The motorblock on our jeep was cracked some weeks before the accident so we immediately had a donor engine...
you can also see our jeep grand cherokee (blue) wich we sold as well and now we have the latest new grandcherokee to replace it

on a sidenote, we also had a jeep cherokee, and sold it in 96' to a local airstrip, they said they were going to use it to tow gliders in the air.
in 2008 i win myself a free flight with a glider, first we get a complete briefing on whats going to happen, current windspeed, temperature, etc.
then we step outside towards our gliders, and i couldnt believe what i saw there!
Our old trusty jeep was still towing gliders 12y later!
according to the hangar manager the only thing that had ever been replaced in those 12y were an oilfilter and a battery!
(now 12y of duty isn't that extreme for a car, but if you know that this jeep used to belong to my dad who had to drive up and down to hamburg (germany) like three times a week (thats about 800miles i believe for 5years! and in even in that time we never had trouble with this car! + he also did trials with that car, so it took quite a beating..., thats quite an achievement...)
