they are great. best boot i have ever used. they are so adjustable, you can change the stiffness with the tongues and the clips that go in the back of the cuff
yea, I love mine. With the soft tongues and no forward lean, they are mega flexy. awesome in the park. when I go ski real shit, the stiff tongues and forward lean wedges totally beef them up. I wouldnt mind a Tad more stiffness in real choppy stuff (thats what the Pro is for tho), but generally, its one of the most versatile boots you can buy. the ID liner is the bees knees too. When you try them on, request that they get tossed on the heater for a few minutes. when they are cold and unmolded, they feel horrible. hot, like the best boot ever.
if they fit. I would say get some footbeds that are stiff to go in th intuitions, too. if you are flat footed, you will have instep pain because they are made for a medium-high instep(although you can get the boot fitted/sand away some of the plastic there yourself, and everybody should have a footbed). The heavyness of the boots will make them good for crud(i found on my pair when I had them, but only a tad noticable). Oh and they do have some forward lean to start with..a medium amount. the inserts just add more.
