Hah whattt? You can take drivers ed when you're 15? In NY you have to have your permit and everything before you take drivers ed. I turned 16 kinda late (may 30) so i took drivers ed this summer, just finished up. Glad I got it done with. Actually learned some helpful stuff.

that's how it used to be here in IL. now we can't have anyone in the car besides family or one friend for a year.

1-5 am? lucky. we can't drive after 10:30 on weekdays and 11:30 on weekends. fucking curfew.

In Wisconsin we could take drivers ed once we were 15.5 and get our permit at 15.5, and then you can get your license as early as your 16th b-day

in maine, you have to take drivers ed to obtain your permit. you must have your permit for 6 months and keep a log of how many hours you drive with your permit (i think 45 hours and a certain amount of night hours) and then you can send in to get a test for your license.
