if there are trees around, break off a bunch of leafy branches and pile them up to make the jumps structure. put snow on top and shape it. if there are no trees, just make sure the jump is packed pretty hard, then you can cover it with powder if you want.

If you want the best results, find a nice steep (or long) inrun that then goes flat, then steep again, with lots of powder. build the jump at the start of the flat part. just make a huge fucking pile and pack it down as much as you can. shape the jump after you have a nice sized pile and be sure to pack it all down in the shape you want it to be. Next, don't hit it right away. you want to give the jump time to harden. depending on how much time you have, give it some time (we let ours in whistler sit overnight before hitting it and it was soooo nice). After you wait a while and it's nice and solid, hit that shit up

You will have a hell of a time packing a kicker until it gets solid. You need to let it harden overnight like ^ he suggested. Definitely find an area where the slope for a landing falls away, which will give you a lot of air time with a smaller jump. Or just find some natural hits, which are pretty common out west. I haven't been to Snowbird, so I don't havce any information on that for you though. Rock on.
