poor people

I saw a post about rich people, so i thought i would put one about not actually poor, but those who aren't millionaires. I think it's funny how me and some of my friends go to eat lunch and whip out the ramen noodles, then swipe the crackers from the food line. I personally have found skiing is better when you have to freeze your ass off in the parking lot cause you know there is gonna be mad powder the next day, or riding up to the resort in a POS cavileer, that sounds like a dirtbike on hills. anyone else got any good stories.

Never have quarters for a locker so I burry my stuff in the snow! One time my boot buckles broke so I just used fresh duct tape for a 4-5 weeks. Duct tape my pole back together but it only lasted for a day! Nothing too extreme, just pratical ways to save a little tiny bit of dough!

A friend of mine used to go in to the movie theatre and act like he is buying tickets for him and his date and he would just pick up two stubs of the ground and use them.

Using my friends ski pass for the entire season~ppl that check the tickets are sooo stupid, the pass had a picture on it of my friend whos a girl and i used it almost the entire year

yeah all my friends always buy chicken tenders and pizza and stuff and i just eat a crap load of oyster crackers and a Yoohoo i brought with me. The cash register people just let me take 5 packets of crackers cuz im short and i can look miserable really well.

I get a 99 cent bowl of chili every time, and about 800 packets of crackers. I figure that they're not going to come up to me and say 'Son, you need to put some of those crackers back.'

when we at talisman were racers, we needed a nice lunch on a cheapskate buget. here's what you need for a nice tomato soup:

hot water : 1 cup
cream: 2 coffee cream packets
ketchup: varies depending on how tomatoie u like it
crackers: doesn't matter


put all ingredients into the cup and still. your end result is nice hot tomato soup.

i wore my last pair of shoes until the soles literally wore through and fell off the rest of the shoes. Got another pair of shoes after talking to the owner of the shop and getting 40 bucks off....and then had to eat mr. noodles (of the generic varity) and other cheap foods to compensate for the footware.

i lived at big white for the winter.. skied every day, never had a pass. was completely broke. lived off noodles and water for a month. that was kinda ghetto style. but the snow was amazing, so it was worth it.

ive stayed for 2 weeks at loon mountain at my condo. it was pretty easy considering no food at all in the place i spend 5 bucks in 2 weeks on food. its all about the free ski apres and a shit load of water

Sweetcoz, how the hell could you ski there without them checking your pass, i go to a lot of mountains and Big White is the most strict about ski passes,

here's what you do. you and one other friend buy a movie ticket. you both go in, and he giver you his ticket. you go back out, give it to a friend, and come back in with him using your ticket. free movie! living on ramen rules!! i'v done the fake season pass thing, got away with it.
