Good jobs to have DURING the school year

Summer's over and so are summer jobs. Getting fired from 2 summer jobs is not fun, but the money i got from them was. Now i'm broke, but i want a job that'll pay alright and give me some decent hours that i can work with and go to school at the same time. anyone have suggestions?

i work for a landscaping business mowing lawns. not a lot of hours but lots of money. i recommend it if you can find one

Its pretty busy when im in all the time, like I said, dry cleaners. They KNOW its boring so they give you a tv and let you do whatever you want, where most places find work for you to do

Work at your local mountain, free pass usually, and your already at the mountain so you can get in a few runs when you get off work.  The only con is when your at work and its snowing and you know your gears in the car but you have to work for the next six hours, watching people use up all the good snow.

from my personal experience, work at a store that employs a large amount of people, this will give you the most flexible hours. i work at grocery store will like 200 employees and i basically work when ever i want, and theyre not cunts about it cause theres allways someone one willing to fill a shift.

Pizza guy.  Big places like Dominos are always hiring, making pizza is fun, delivering pizza is chill, you can smoke lots of weed, mad tips.  Peak hours are like 5-9 so its really easy to get 5pm-10pm shifts, so it'll give you a couple hours after school to chill out.

I've been doing it for like 3 years, I'm probably going to try for a bartender job once I'm 21 this winter but its a sick gig.  I make like probably over $350 a week after tips and all, and I only work like 25 hours a week.

If you are near a shop, get a job tuning, they will probably start you out as a wax monkey,but there's deals, free tunes, etc.

night job as a busser/cook/dishwasher isn't bad, cause you arn't skiing and you get money that doesn't interfere with it. Thats what i am hoping to do this winter

im not talking about being a line ref, although ive done that and its legit (reffing does get boring tho). im talking about actually painting the lines. its like 12 bucks a field and each field takes like 10 or 15 minutes

thiis. working at a shop during school fitting boots and selling skis, mad hookups on everything, free tunes, waxes, mounts, you name it. plus crazy discounts on gear. ski shops also might be one of the most relaxed environments to work in too, there's just a lot of gaperage to deal with.

same here, its awwesome to work in a huge store like that too because i just walk in and dont have to report to anybody then just go about my business. however being a cartboy still isnt that ideal of a job

life gaurd at your schools rec center. They get paid pretty well and its easy to get, with a short training course.

work whenever you want and you can do mad schoolwork in the bus. plus, decent pay, benefites, tuition reimbursement etc etc.

this. its what i do. and sometimes really funny things happen within in the store depending on your managers. all of my managers but one are cool so yeah. one day i got away with paging my manager to my register and then when he got there and asked what i said "nothing ya fucking idiot" he laughed /claim

I work at McDonald's, which isn't really a good job, but they are really flexible with scheduling.  You can just tell then how much you want to work and they will change it no matter what.  I'm only going to work 10 hours a week during the ski season.  Some jobs wouldn't let you cut your hours like that.

And you get free food, which saves a lot more money than you would think.

grocery stores are decent if you get in a departement with alot of employees cause i have a hard time getting people to cover my shifts which sucks for winter.
