hahaha when i think of emo i think of like dashboard/jets to brazil etc.... postal service has a line that goes like.. 'would someone please call a surgeon/to crack my ribs and repair this broken heart/ shit if thats not emo i dont know what is! but i really dig em... titles are so lame... im stoked on the postal service and that be all that matters

why does everyone need to focus so much on the damn category of the music (ie: emo, powerpop, punk pop, indie, etc>) Why cant we just have an opinion about how they sound and stop bitching why someone is emo or not. (by the way postal service and Death Cab rock)

its really not emo,
just because there are lyrics that deal with emotions doesnt make it emo...you can find plenty of songs that discuss relationships and what not and you wouldnt consider them emo.
