mounting point on skis

it seems like every ski has a totally different mounting point, pe's and tm's pretty far back while line and scratches are farther forword, i was just wodnering what skis have what mounting points and the difference it makes



i cant describe the vibe i get when i drive by 6 people and 5 i hit

if you mount furthur forward you will have more tail, which in turn makes it easier to ski switch. i think the PE and the TM probably have a mounting point set further back because dynastar and K2 probably expect to sell to a wider market than just people who ride park and want to ride switch. they probably assume that a kid who rides park knows enough to tell the guys at the shop to mount them + when he takes them in.
