Dumont has recently filed for bankruptcy which will result in the selling of his house in CO and moving back into his parents' house in Bethel, Maine. Details are still sketchy at the moment but Simon was able to give a statement on this unexpected event.
"Hey times are tough. The economy is down and the ski industry is going in a direction that I cannot keep up with. I mean everyone is tossing double flips and double corks and that's what the fans, judges and sponsors want to see. I'm sorry I cannot provide this and it has shown not only in my competition results but also in my financial issues. I'll bounce back. Dewey always does."
