so me and a couple of friends just decided that we want to go on a trip out to colorado for a week during christmas break. We will have to figure out transportation because we arent old enough for a rental car. Basically, we need to know the best mountain to go to that has fairly inexpensive hotels/motels and would have shuttles/buses that could take us back and fourth between the hotel and mountain. Very good park would also be in the criteria, but i'm sure any park out west is gonna beat the east. anyway, please help, +++++k

you cant beat the vail resorts 3 day ticket if you really wanna hit some epic stuff. you can order the ticket ahead of time for like 250 bucks or something, which is like a 30 dollar discount i think. if you want a hotel up in the mountains you really need to book it ahead of time or you'll have a way hard time finding a room. Otherwise you just gotta stay in denver or somewhere and drive up in the morning, which isnt too bad anyways, and its just an awesome drive.

that's our iggest issue, we cant get a rental car and we dont want to to take taxi's, our only option would be a bus route

There are a ton of taxi and bus services that run between Denver airport and the resorts. Google the Denver airport and the resorts you're going to. They'll give you the information.
