Gay, or just normal team sports behaviour?

So, after my morning knee rehab workout at school today, I take the elevator down 4 floors to get to the men's locker room. I sit in front of my locker and open it, when all of a sudden I hear loud screaming and obnoxious yelling, along with 'the beat 94.5', Vancouver's 'favourite' bad top 40 radio station.

Turning to see what the commotion is all about, I realize that the men's soccer team has entered their little changeroom, which is in the general men's locker room. They proceed to yell, scream, sing, dance, and smack each other with towels, all while being naked. Of course, half of them are 'typical euro trash soccer players', with long hair, headbands, and that smug 'euro look' to them. The other half seem to be white guys who think they're black.

So after the naked yelling, screaming, dancing, and towel smacking, half of them proceed to the showers together, while the other half seem to leave without bothering to get wet with their teammates. I then hear more yelling coming from the showers, and then silence as they enter the sauna.

So, the question is: is this normal team sports behaviour, or just plain homosexual?

maybe they were drunk

or maybe they were just really excited and pumped up about winning some game. i know that when you play a team sport, and you do really well, the celebration can often get out of hand because of the group pumps you up and makes you more crazy. They're behavior is obviously really strange to an outsider, but to them, they're just having fun.

soccer players are def gay and i would not be surprized if they wahacked eachother off shortly after.

but i would inspect that sort of behavior from a hockey team.

i have never been more sexually vilolated then the day i took a bus ride with by buddies uxbridge junier C hockey team.

but it was all in good fun

i played team sports from elementary to high school (soccer included) and never once was my whole team naked slapping each other on the ass with towels.....and that ''smug euro look'' thing was just a joke whoever took it seriously

I would say that is typically soocer team behavior, u would never see a football team doing that.

Let's face it, no one posts anything serious on NS, and even if I wanted to, it would be answered by some not-so-clever variation of the following:

some of the rugby stories i about are pretty disturbing, the guys weren't gay, just wierd. I've played soccer sicne i was 5, i think maybe it was the european influence showing through there... And ya man, you're a homophobe, and you're giving a bad name to americans.

Oh my gosh.. hah, there was this kid on the wrestling team at my high school named Jared Droppleman. Supposedly he was pretty hung and he'd do this thing in the shower, where he'd take his balls and wrap them around his schlong and rub it back and forth and call it the Droppleman Hotdog. This kid ended up getting kicked off for shitting in the shower and throwing it at the lockers.
