Woodward in CO was probably the most exciting potentially progressive idea I have ever heard of. I mean you look at sports like BMX and FMX and the amazing advantages and progression foam pits have facilitated, you can't help but be stoked seeing this coming to the freeskiing community. Here's the thing, I've watched as many videos as newschoolers and google would find. I'm not really impressed though. I've seen a couple double backs and simply put they were hucked! How is this really going to help our sport progress through more double flips, double corks, and who knows maybe triple somethings one day. It seems like this facility is pretty much no good to those looking to learn those kinds of tricks much less doing them with style. Don't get me wrong I'd love to go get on my skis in the middle of summer but if your looking to progressit looks like we need to go back to the water ramps. Or someone needs to build something BIGGER! - these are just some thoughts but I really would like some input from those who have been there.
Am I way off on this? Who has been there and has really been impressed with it?
Any others with foam pit jumps that are double corkable, dj flipable?
