Being a rep

So I've applied for a job repping for 2 weeks for a UK based company than runs student trips to Europe (there is a mass exodus of students to French resorts every winter, so my chances are good)

Has anyone else repped? If so, how much time do you get to spend skiing in comparison to a normal season?

I'd get free accomodation/ free flights and $150.

But I want to spend the season skiing, not looking after other people and doing paperwork/organisation the whole time.

I'd rather be broke and skiing than have cash and be stuck in an office at the bottom of the mountains.

To rep or not to rep? Thoughts?

do it dude. you could prolly ski the whole time.
either that or you only sit in an office part of the day.

i dont think reps ski too much. like example, when the reps are at your mountain demoing gear, the reps are not skiing you are right.... like any job though it has its perks and im sure there is plenty of ski time for most people.

I was an apa rep for dynastar, not paid, i just skied around and handed out discount cards to kids.

id say it varies

im a rep here in nz... and if im working, i dont get to ski alot, sometimes ill pack up demos at 3 maybe, and ski for an hour, but thats only if im working alone... if theres someone else im working with then for sure i get to take lots of runs...
off hill work is done at night, so no clashes there..
but this is nz, life goes by a bit slower and relaxed here
