So im droppin off the sis in New York City for college and im staying here for a week, whats some shit i should d, besides all the main tourist shit (Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building), I have enough spending money so that shouldnt be a problem, also anywhere i could get some cool threads like LRG, WeSC, Crooks that kinda shit?

Best chinese food ever. its downstairs, you'll probably have to wait a little bit. its a shit hole but i guarantee you will love it or i will pay for you food. Get wanton/egg drop soup, and the chow fun, these are their specialties. then get what ever else you normally get

spend a day in central park (free). go shopping in Soho. Find the underground (literally underground) sneaker spots. dont buy shit on canal street unless u want fake gucci shoes. go to times square to look around and get out of there quickly. and if your into photography check out B&H on 34th & 9th. its the mecca.

go to greenwich, go to stage deli/the other great delis in new york, see a show on broadway if you have the $$$ but i assume you have some cash to blow if youre going to new york. also spend like fifteen minutes in time square to marvel at the mass of humanity that frequents it... do some touristy things like going to the statue of liberty and ellis island but dont spend too long on stuff like that. im not sure if youre 21 or older but i know there's great night life in new york too, you'll find plenty to do; new york city is fucking huge.

i was just in nyc last week and there are some places you HAVE to eat at

-papaya king: crispy hot dogs and coconut champagne
-5 guys burger: you haven't lived if you haven't had one
-curry leaf: zagat rated several years in a row very good indian food

my uncle took me to the turkish baths (extreme temperature sauna with ice pool)

hit up canal street for pirated dvds and knock off rolex's and louis vitton stuff

There is an Oakley store at like 5th ave and 20 somethin, and there is also one in Soho somewhere. They have a lot of sales going on.
Hit up central park, Harlem has some sweet hood outlets if your like everyone on NS an need new tall-t's.
