i mean shit, i'd rather watch a football, hockey, or hoops game on TV any day of the week but that was a bit ignant for someone who usually makes quality posts

What about all them football players, basketball players, soccer players, investors, doctors, dentists, lawyers, engineers, architects, pilots, IT people, ceos, small business owners etc etc etc etc etc etc. Should they stop buying cars, house, food, what have you?

Or do a shitload of people already donate a lot? Including baseball players. Their pay may be inflated, but if that is their "worth" then more power to them. If that is the market, so be it.

to be honest, i didnt know you were a "mod" in the first place, im not on this site enough to even know what the difference is, i didnt say that to mean anything against you personally, but honestly, whenever i make a thread about baseball, all i hear is baseball sucks, baseballs boring and shit like that and it really gets to me, and like stated previously, every sport has a jumbotron at the stadium so that didnt really make any sense

For the love of god, I dont ban people for voicing opinion. However, sorry for voicing my opinion, I didnt know we had to only post positive comments. And yeah, every sport has a jumbo-tron, not every sport uses it pretty much exclusively to play games with the crowd.

actually if youve ever been to any basketball game the jumbotron is used even more than in baseball. pump up the crowd, play trivia, show fans, whatever

and dont say baseball is boring. i hate ignorant dumbasses who have no idea what theyre talking about when they say baseball is boring. if you know something about it you know its interesting to see the approach a pitcher takes at a batter or a batter's strategy of dealing with the pitcher. and theres a reason why its widely known that hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in all of sports. if youve ever tried to hit a 12-6 curve or a changeup following a 95mph fastball then youd know to appreciate people when they get hits

Youk got hit yesterday on purpose and he was fuckin pissed about it then so with him being the face of the sox pretty much, hell ya he's gonna be pissed when he gets drilled on purpose twice.  Leyland has been around a long time he knows how the game is played and a young pitcher like that has a lot of pressure to show he's a man.  This is baseball.

I mean shit, last year Ozzie Guillen set a rookie back to the minors after he refused to hit a batter.

haha no one cares about lacrosse? is that a joke? lacrosse is HUGE on the east coast and west coast and its getting huge in colorado and texas and other places too. its one of the biggest sports in the u.s., seriously. and you're trying to argue that lacrosse sucks because the guys in the MLL don't get paid as much as guys in the MLB. first off, the MLL isn't the best representation of lacrosse as a whole. i'd say high school and college lacrosse have more spirit than the MLL by a long shot. watch a college or good high school game and tell me its not fucking exciting. even so, the guys in the MLL are out there doing what they love, they're not worried about what they get paid. (most of them do have second jobs). Lacrosse and the games that contributed to what lacrosse is now are some of the oldest sports around, have some respect for them.
i like baseball too, back to what i came into this thread to post, baseball's a great sport and is fun to watch, but its only fun to watch if youre at the stadium watching the game, watching on tv is not too exciting, unless its the playoffs. it takes a lot of talent too, mostly hitting the ball, which is hard as fuck.

Youk got hit Monday too, which pissed him off. Last night, he got hit on the first pitch. How can you say that it's not intentional?

Both sides have been hitting the others batters all series - it started with Penny hitting a tiger, then Youk getting hit on Monday. Then, Tazawa hit that tiger on the hand, which led to Porcello throwing inside to Martinez and then plunking Youk.

i think soccer is boring as fuck. and everyone sucks soccer's dick. i do like to watch it to relax or feel slowed down when i'm hungover, but it's boring. baseball, i like to watch. i like how its pretty much one on one the whole game. each pitch can determine the game.

its not hard to get recruited in any sport, but that doesn't mean you're going to a good school or good
I'm saying i am possibly getting recruited to Wesleyan or other NESCAC schools (which includes amherst, tufts, middlebury, the list goes on)

HAHAHAHAHA...everyone in my family has always been pretty athletic and played baseball, one of my cousins played minor league for Cinnci, and I got a few shitty offers for some Catholic schools but decided I didn't want to play anymore (now I regret it)...another cousin of mine on the otherhand worked sooo hard at baseball, worked out and played all the time but for some reason just couldn't hit a baseball to save his life...his junior year he joined the lacrosse team and now he has a full ride to some school in SC...I dont really care tho, I enjoy lacrosse a lot...and for those who think baseball is boring it's just because they never took the time to really learn the strategy behind the game...as for the most difficult sport, I think it's golf personally...sooo many factors are taken into account.
