Replying to I love cops.

Long story short, a couple officers pretty much let me and a couple friends off the hook the other night from getting majorly fucked over.

Me, my freind andre, and a german foreign exchange student named di mo were driving around the other night high and I made the mistake not to turn my headlights on. Seriously? Stupid fucking thing to do.

Well of course the cop smelled weed on us immediately and was like wheres the pot?? I told him i had given my freind a ride earlier in the day and he had smoked in the car, and being a drug free teen as myself, I informed him I had no idea it was marijuana he was smoking.

Somehow he bought it, but still insisted to search the car with his cop buddy. Thank god i had put the bud and my peice into my stash spot which my freind had discovered for me the day before (usually i just put it in my center console).

So were standing there, my freinds are freaking the fuck out and i'm literally shitting myself as two cops search my car which has a bag of weed and two open bottles of vodka in it. Fuck my life right?

Thank god again they don't find the weed, but of course they find the 2 bottles which were in my friends backpack. The cops walk over to us with the alcohol with that oh you guys are so fucked look on there face, di mo says his host sister got him the bottles, and i act like i had no idea they were in my car. So right about when i'm trying to figure out how much shit were gonna be in and how I might as well go jump off the nearest building, the cop hands me my keys and ID and tells us to get back in the car.

They pour out the alcohol in front of us, and tell us that we seem like decent kids, and that "they believe in second chances." I could have kissed those guys!

Has anyone else ever had cops just let you off the hook like this before? I have newfound love for police officers. Even though most of em love busting kids for stuff just like this, these guys thought they'd give us a second chance. I think thats pretty fuckin cool.
