Replying to Mounting old k2 madien ak 179

i searched this and did't find too much.
So I have owned a pair of these skis for a couple of years mounted at +4.  Once in a while the tail felt akward.  But they need new bindings, I am condsidering mounting them +6 or center, hoping that they would ski better switch. 
Would the 2 or 3 centimeters make much of a difference in terms of both backwards and forwards skiing ability?
 Would they dive too much in pow?
Or are they just a tough ski to ski switch and mounting them that close to center would mess them up?
