haha ^ jaded local isn't jaded is he?  So here's my question- 

I had knee surgery in august and am getting follow up xrays in nov.  they should tell me if and when I could ski this season.  Problem is, I have a mount snow season pass and don't know if I can refund it.  I could also try to defer it to next year, when I hope I would be fully functional. 

What to do?  Try to ski and maybe waste big $?  I'm rehabbin like crazy too, because I feel that this one's gonna be deep...

I got knee surgery in February. November 6th is the official date I can "do sports." Even if you're not going to be doing crazy tricks n shit you're still going to want to ski, yes? Even if its just following your friends down the park on the side, I'd say go for it and keep the pass, shred the blue/green!

not as much of a trek as you might expect.  no boston traffic, its just a long way west to go.  Took me 3.5 hours before I moved to NH. 

just realized how much I'm posting in this thread, but hey, I'm getting excited for snow.  any other thoughts on the season pass? should I get into filming?

i dont know what you doods are talking about, everything at mount snow is fun. theres a million features, including the dew tour park jumps.

thats incorrect,  Mount snow is the worst mountiain in the NE by FAR!.  If you're looking for something really good and extreme hit up sundown or something. 
I also heard skiing is no longer a real sport, but idk if thats true
