I am confused

At fashionfabricsclub.com  I found some really cheap jersey cotton in lots of colors.  When you select it, there are two boxes.  One has whole numbers, and i think thats the number of yards, and one has 1/8 up to 7/8's.  What is the second box?     http://www.fashionfabricsclub.com/search/search.aspx?page=2&source=searchbox&keywords=Jersey+cotton

when you buy fabric you can by it by fractions of a yard. so you can buy like a yard and 3/8. an 1/8 is the smallest fraction usually. I'm pretty sure this stems from old ladies being nit picky at fabric stores.

and be careful that jersey cotton is like tshirt material not sweatshirt material.
