i know these cameras are a lil old, but i was wondering how the quality is on them, which is the best, or just some general know abouts on which to get, or what else is a good camera that i wont have to blow a ton of money on. thanks, +K

Should be in media and arts. The oldest camera I would buy now is the vx2k. 2100 would be better and dvx even better.

they are all garbage, Im going to assume you dont know much about cameras to fully use the manual on them so just save yourself a headache from trying to get those dino's working, and get an hv30

good choice..
the HV40 is a good upgrade, if you have the money. tapes are a pain.

they are older and bigger, but i have never had a problem with my vx2000 yet. and loading to the computer isnt bad at all. ill try to put some test footy on, but im happy with the 3ccd camera so far, footy looks great.
but the hv30 looks reall tight. tapes arent as bad as some people think, they just arent as easy as having a sd card
