Bindings: weight? strength? park?

4FRNT=Dynastar=Head=Tyrolia.  Tyrolia=Great.  I have Peak 18s and Peak 15 and Free Flex 11s or 12s.  Only thing I ski(other than Dukes, purely use those because they are the only working touring binder for hard skiers IMO).

So the 4frnts are pretty legit? No gimmick?

has most binding weights. imo light bindings dont really make a difference. they just brreak easy. like marker bindings are light and good. but they break easily unless your light weight or you dont shred hard. 4 frnt bindings are very strudy and cheap. but i dont know  if there so called "light"

Dude, I tour on a pair of Dynafit Bindings, and they are bomber. I weigh 170, and I rip it pretty good. Are you "touring" over large cliffs and ice waterfalls? I mean I don't ski the Dynafits inbounds (anymore), but for a dedicated touring setup, they are legit.

Last time I checked Dynastar was tied to Look/Rossi.

He is correct in saying that the 4frnt's are re-branded Tyrolia bindings. I personally switched over all my skis from PX12/Axial2 120's to the new Tyrolia Peak 15's and they are bomber, metal construction and not a whole lot heavier than the px12's I recommend them to all my friends 

Oops, I meant that you can use alpine boots in.  For a BC setup w/no inbounds I would get Dynafits, but I can't have a setup like that(not enough use, I would be tempted to use inbounds, I use alpine boots even when not in resort at all, etc.).  Freerides suck.  Dynafits are fuckin light and tour the best of any binding out there(I have used them).

and one post up, I thought Dynastar had changed for next year, or maby that was Amplid?  Not sure.  Peak 15s are plastic where your boot touches the heel actually just super sturdy.  I have Peak 15s and 18s and you see more metal in 18s.  Not afraid of breaking 15s at all though.  All my bindings are Tyrolia(except dukes...I told tyrolia to make a touring Peak 15!!)

Ah, I see, well in that case, your totally correct, Freerides do kinda suck... How do you like the Markers?

Salomon sth 12's are good if you're lighter.

I find that the lower din Salomon binders pre release easiy, especially when going backwards.

eh, top of the line and all but for alpine compatible AT thats not saying much(Freerides, Naxos...not much comp.).  I really don't like the 34mm stack height or whatever.  I will be in the market for the 2011 Solly AT binding most likely, try to beg some higher-up for some early.  Other than Dukes I will never buy a Marker binding(including Jesters).  Apparently the center screw is having problems for some people by now too.  I will be using them all next season(hopefully..) though, and they do realease when they should unlike the marker M series, which releases every few turns set at 12.  Other than the stand hieght, center screw(which any AT binding has some kind of risk like that, this is fairly low), and normal Jester type problems(except you can adjust dukes toe height =) ) they work fine as a charging binding.  The touring seems a bit harder since unlike Dynafits you pick up the whole binding every step.
