Scariest movies since 2000

Looking to watch some of the scariest movies (that are on DVD now) since they year 2000. any ideas? ive watched a lot of trailers but the movies just don't look too scary

has anyone seen orphan? it wasn't so much scary just really disturbing, and the end was pretty suspenseful

Orphan wasn't scary although the little girl did a fantastic job acting for a 12 year-old. 99% of the movies listed in this thread aren't really that scary. Some are good horror movies, but scary they are not except for maybe a scene or two. The Shining definitely has some quality moments as do others but that's about it - maybe I'm just too old.
Saw Inside (À l'intérieur) last night and it's quite a sick flick. Nothing too terrifying but a great horror film with more than a handful of uneasy parts in it that make Hostel look like a PG movie.
