This is a great post.
And I can't believe that someone just said get Anthems, Invaders or ABangs. Do you even know anything about Suspects other than that they have had edge problems?
Suspects are fairly stiff. If you want to buy them or Dumonts, I would say do to a store with multiple pairs and look them all over carefully, then choose the two skis that look best(look at the edges and sidewalls). Many reports of people having problems have been from people who start with a pair where the sidewall is slightly off the edge for even a little bit of the ski.
Other skis to consider are Pipe Cleaners(just got to ski mine in 181 and I am under 160lbs, felt great), K2 Extremes(stifff skis, but great jump and pipe skis), Line Chronics(if you don't mind mounting -3 or farther back), Amplid Syntax or AntiD(both would be good jump skis), Moment Freebird which I really want to try to see if it would make a great jump ski, Moment Reno Jibs which are one of the few symmetrical skis that truly killl it at jumps, and Rossi S4(hasn't changed in years but it is still a good ski that is easy to get cheap 09s which have a cool graphic) ( http://www.evogear.com/outlet/skis/rossignol-sas-s4-squindo-pre-sale-2009.aspx use the code at the top of the page and they should be $327. I almost got them but ended up snagging the second to last pair of PCs with my store cred. instead). Good luck!
