Line pin pole size.

So I am about to get some line pin poles. I am 5'9 maybe grow to 5'10 by the season just wondering what height I should get. Like 38s or 40s. Last season I just got some really long 48s that got in the way in the park...just asking opinions

im the same height and use 48s but if those where to long you could always cut them down?

short poles really arent any good out of the park id say get something closer to 42 or 44. but if these are the only sizes available get 40

yeah but I'm giving those to my brother for next year so I gotta get new poles. I think it would mostly be a preference thing but i would just like a couple opinions.

in our o"pin"ion (hahahhahahhahahaa) get the bigger ones, they're aluminum so you can always cut down, but can never add more. thats for rocking Pointy Sticks with Grips!

Hahaha i loved the pun and thanks for the answer. Also i think its sweet that you are responding to gear talk threads. It really helps out for kids with questions about Line skis.

Short poles are awesome for the park, mine are like 90 cm's that i cut down. But then when I wanna head out of the park I have to grab my 110cm poles so I don't have to bend over so much.

And the pointy sticks are awesome, my mate uses them at 100 and he's maybe 180 - 185 cm's (sorry don't know feet, aussie) and it's the only poles he uses, even when just cruising around/

i like shorter poles. they dont get in your way. But 40s arnt that big of a pole either

just get a standard pipe cutter and go to town

Its a bit hard to get the grip off.  I work at a hill so i brought it in to the tech shop because i dont have to pay and he had to use a hammer to get it off.
