What to do in LA?

hey

so Im in LA for two weeks and I already got some plans for some shops to go to but other than that Im lost any cool places to go?

go to santa barbara.  the town is awesome.  the L.A. zoo is pretty nice too. better than the one in DC. 
and take the ferry out to catalina!!!!!!

You missed the fact that, not only did he mention a bunch of terrible places to go in LA, he used the words "culture" and "LA" in the same sentence. There is no fucking culture in LA. Its like saying Las Vegas has culture because they built a fake Eiffel Tower.

-MB2 (really fast go karts)
-Go to a lake
-Ride Horses
-Go to Mel's Diner
-Dodgers game
-Go see a show at The Whiskey, Roxy, Hollywood Bowl, whatever
-Clubs
-Short trip to Malibu, hit up a resturant called Paradise Cove
-Griffith Observatory
-Buy and smoke some really good weed
-3rd street promenade
-Little China/Tokyo
-Star Tours
-Ventura Harbor

...just off the top of my head, there is a lot more than that obviously

Go to Six Flags for sure, its a little drive from hollywood, but it seriously has some of the most gnar rollercoasters in the world.  And its closer than Disneyland.

Santa Barbara is cool but its as far as San Diego and there is a lot more to do there.  LA zoo has a lot of good animals but you can tell its the LA zoo, its pretty ghetto.  Catalina is fucking rad thats a good idea.  Or from Ventura you can go to Anacapa Island.

santa barbara is close to my heart.  right out of my childhood. 

but get to the barrier islands.  it's gorgeous.  catalina is my favorite. it looks right out of the Mediterranean, and the snorkeling is good.  they have this "underwater preserve" for snorkeling, and people bring frozen peas and corn to bait the fish in close.  fish everywhere.  more fish than you can shake a stick at.

Or if you a real nigga go to Golden Bird.  Its much better but only in Compton *slash* South Gate area.
