so Im in LA for two weeks and I already got some plans for some shops to go to but other than that Im lost any cool places to go?

im going to LA in a little over a week, my brother is working out there.
we're staying at the crown plaze right near the ocean, my brother lives near Venice beach.
i expect a lot of shopping (well not buying anything though) and tanning. and seeing shit in LA. i mean what else is there to do...

There is tons to do in LA.  I like LA, it's a city full of rich culture and lots of shit to do.  It's not like SF, but it is a sweet city.  Go down to Universal and check out the studios, film is a crazy cool industry.  Go to Disneyland, go to the beach, go to downtown LA, it is a sweet place, my dad used to work in the AON building, check out the Staples center, go wherever the fuck you want, go to the Oakley headquarters, there are tons of other brands right by there.  The Oakley headquarters is sweet, definitely go down there.  Just look through a travel guide, there is SO much stuff to do in LA.

i live 30 miles away from the cap/vinyard ext and when i wana go to a beach i go to my house in myrtle beach. i wouldnt bother with the beaches up here

check out ameoba records. pretty legit place. also go get you stress test at the scientology headquarters. but halfway in tell them you nee to go outside to snort a xanex and see how they feel about that. outside of that LA is a pretty awesome place to skate and shop. but outside of that not to much going on.

yeah I googled what to do in LA but it came up all tourist shit that I dont really wanna do

but yeah I plan on going downtown and just play it by ear I guess.

boston alone makes mass the shit, but besides boston, there are good beaches, wachusett, sunday river, loon, mount snow, providence, portland, the comcast center,and nyc is only 3 hours away.

Hang out in WeHo. The guys are hot.

Seriously, go to the beach, base yourself in Hermosa Beach and you'll instantly fall in love with L.A.

Then go to downtown L.A., walk Broadway, and soak up the urban grit.

Then drive any of the crosstown boulevards, Sunset Blvd. is a fantastic drive. And keep your eye out for the number of ethnic businesses and neighborhoods you pass through.

It's an awesome city, btw, you just need to scratch beneath the drab, ugly surface, and there is an incredible amount of life that you'll observe. My favorite place in the world.

did you even read sierra steeze's post? he said that there was a ton to do in la, but then followed by telling him to go downtown, to fucking disneyland, to an oakley store, and to the goddamn staples center. Thats like going to paris, asking someone where the best place to eat is, and getting mcdonalds as a response.
