Hey guys,

yesterday i made a 10' rail about 8" off the ground for my summer setup, i hit it once and fucked up my hand pretty hard, is there any trick to getting on and staying on a circular rail? thanks.

keep your eye on the end of the rail, thatll help you stay centered and avoid looping out.  good luck big guy!

what they said, scissoring helps too, just pull one tip up and the other down (this is how you set a 270 out, so if you can do those, set up for that)

the problem could be how you're getting onto the rail, you may be coming in at too much of an angle. if it's urban you might be popping too high, I had that problem. I would pop too high off the lip and land weird on the rail which would throw off my balance

thanks alot guys, i just sucked it up and went out this morning fell twice but after that i was stompin the rail all day, still gotta work on my scissors but im sliding it near perfect now, i almost made it a down rail which is pretty sweet. Tommorow im gonna work on scissoring and 2's out, thanks again.

keep your feet square, if they are together you can lose your balance and slip out. distribute your weight evenly.

wow thanks guys for all the input.

i was shredding the rail all day today, in my last sesh i swapped the rail out for the box and landed my first switchup, i think its blind?. Anyways check out the switchup vid i just uploaded it,

Jep, its a blind switch up.

Another advice: If you go for a 270 out, scissoring is important and also (I talk about a front 270 out) try to keep you upper body straight, dont rotate with it and only 'spin' the 90 on the rail with your feet. This makes sure that you can put some pressure on your edge of the front ski and stop the rotation of the 90 and do the 270 out.
