Mount Snow Snowstyle 360 pics...

Hey everyone, haven't been on NS in a long time. Figured I would come back to share some new 360 immersive pics with you guys.

These are from the Mount Snow Snowstyle comp that went down yesterday, it was absolutly insane. Well, check out the images, you are going to need Quicktime to view them since they are 360 degree immersive panoramics.

thats sick how do you get the 360 thing going?

Its winter, the birds have all flown south, all but one. One little bird that waited too long. As it flew to catch it's buddies it got icicles on its wings and fell to the ground. The bird then saw a nice looking branch at the top of a nearby tree and it said to a nearby cow, 'I want to reach that top branch but I don’t have then energy to fly up, can you help?' The cow said, 'Here, eat some of my poop it'll fuel you to climb up the tree.' The little bird said, 'Thanks!' and had some of the cow poop. The bird flew up to the first branch of the tree and rested, then the next day flew to the next branch, until finally the bird reached the top branch. Then the farmer came out with a shotgun...

The moral of the story is, bullshit may get you to the top, but it wont keep you there.

theres a thing that extends from the lens that is attached to a sphere like mirror that take the picture as a circle then there is a program that unwraps the picture and splices it into the 3-d image you see there..

Bryan pretty much hit it on the head with how the image is created. The camera is mounted on a 7 foot tripod, and it aims up at a mirrorball, the image looks like a doughnut before the software unwraps it. If anyone is in those 360 pics, let me know so I can give you credit and label the trick correctly. It is kinda tough to know what the hell people were throwing.
