armada's breaking/delaming etc.

what up everybody

i usually ride concepts (green top sheet)and there really stiff, and not that wide... i ride about 60% BC, 30% rails and 10% jumps.... i demo'd a pair of armadas (180cm) and i really really dug em.... i plan on getting a pair of skis im gonna ride for a long time.... its up in the air between pollards, and the 180 armadas. i havent heard anything about pollards breaking or getting worked, but i have heard stuff about the armadas delaming fast..

anyone got any info for moi? also im 5 11' 155 pounds

the armadas dont elam that fast, its just because their topsheets are black its more noticible.

60% backcountry and you want a park ski? I say go for the Pollard Pros or ARVs, you won't regret a fat ski for backcountry.

...Just kidding. Line skis are just as well known for delaming as armadas, but either will work well for BC...How about Made'ns? Anybody demoed a pair? They look like they'd work pretty damn well too.

hahaha yea i was thinking about some BG pros... ahaha but seriously folks.

I could care less about graphics and i was thinking about pollards, because im going to be experimenting alot with switch lines, and switch takeoffs and landings.... i just want something that will last me a long time and be effective..

i can speak up for the quality/durability of line skis being miles ahead of where they were a few years ago. my Pollard's hold up waaay better than my TM's.

You can get the pollards, as well as some other lines at Galyans for $250 (I'm not even shitting you) that is about $50 below wholesale. Pretty damn good deal if you dont get shop forms.








I have a theory that all retards have one long tendon that goes from wrist to wrist, so therefore that is why they always are screwin around with one wrist up, and the other one down.

dude my friend bought AR5's and i htink it was his first day skiing htem and they delaminated sickly

honestly ben i would recomend the Scratch BC, there such a sick ski, they ride park the best out of any 'BC' ski, and there great for what your looking for, but if guess if its up to the pollard pro and the ar5 i would go with the pollard pro becuase its a bt more what your looking for.....

armadas are a first year company so of course some stuff will breack. my topsheet broke th first day and now my edge brok so dont egt em unless you have alot of money for back up skis as well
