I have a fucking job, unlike alot of the rich kids in my town. I actualyl do my job well (i sell furniture and work the aisles at staples =D). I got the job on my own, without my parents nagging me. I've never gone into debt to my parents nor have i not payed my parents back. I've always paid for all my own expenses (skiing,gear,food,movies,cellphone bill,clothes, etc.). I just had to clean out my entire wardrobe cause all my clothes are too small for me now. So naturally i want to buy some new stuff. I'm also selling some of my old ski stuff to friends and on here. So basically i try to as independent asi can for a 16 year old going into senior year. my grades are pretty dec too, ive gone to university tours this year, even to ones im not interested in.
and my parents just fucking flipped shit and yelled at me for two things.
1. i sold a pair of headphones and goggles for less then i bought them (obviously they were used fuck.)
2. I want to buy new clothes that i like, but they dont "approve" and think its too "expensive" even though im fucking spending my own money that i worked. They had no fucking hand in any of my cash.
it makes me so mad that they think they can control my money that i fucking earned. It's not like im spending money i dont have, i'm usually cheap as hell but i just want to buy 4 shirts jeez.
p.s my parents are asian.
