Anyone own a Zune?

I deleted my whole library along with everything I own on my computer so I was wondering if anyone knows how to get music back somehow if it's still on the Zune itself?

Is the music still on the Zune? You can rip your Zune pretty easily.

I was trying to delete my account off a 3rd party prgram but the 3rd party prgram deleted it. fail.

And how do I rip my Zune, I know I tried this with an iPod but when I synced it to an empty library it emptied my iPod.

I thought that was a benefit of the Zune. You didn't have to do all the run-around bullshit to get your music off your player like with an iPod.

Well it probably is a lot easier, buuut I tried it with my iPod and fucked shit up all over town so I'm not trying it without knowing what I'm doing

I'm not sure what's going on with the Zune anymore. When I had mine (first gen, brown), I could just copy within the basic zune player and copy the library, but i don't want to tell him to just in case shit's changed since when I had mine. Mine had a "copy from Zune" feature, so look for that.

Also, I got the Zune and liked it because it had much better sound quality and better interface.

Yeah I'm in the process of getting a Zune now. My ipod of 4 years finally broke and I'm in the market for a new player.

To be honest I'm not as stoked on the new Zunes as I was with the old. The big reason I'm going to a zune is the software. I love the zune program. So much easier than itunes. But I feel the Zune was so much better than the ipod when it first came out, now they're pretty much comparable. The Zune felt so sturdy and it just seemed like a well made product. I went to go check them out today and the new Zunes feel cheap and kinda fragile.

The software is good as long as your computer isn't really slow. It's prolly the same with iTunes too. And for the sturdyness, don't crack the screen, and the one other problem is around the Zune pad, a thin ring will come off eventually. looks a bit worse but nothing happens.

Yeah. It was scratch and bomb-proof when it was made from that cool plastic.I'm gonna wait for 4th gen before I make my choice, because I've had a shuffle for a year now, and I need more storage. I will always love teh player and the sounds on the Zune, and I know that will never change.

See the Zune software is fucking speedy on my computer. Itunes is sluggish and lame. And I have a pretty high powered computer. The software for itunes just sucks. This is coming from someone who has used itunes for like 7 years up until 2.5 months ago.

open the zune software and connect your zune. see that little computer moniter icon on the bottom left of the sotware? that is a little do it all button that takes music from your zune and adds it to your library on the computer.

good luck, it will probably take forever since its your entire library.

only like 1800 songs. i lost my library before and never got it back lol. But to the people who says "fuck zunes", FUCK YOU, unless you have a reason.

if you didnt get it already, just plug in your zune, and in the zune software, highlight all your songs, then right click and hit add to collection... done
