They are okay, try using ableton its a super crisp program if you can get it.

I had ableton, it was really hard to use, any other suggestions? Also how do I take out the singing or take out the instruments from a song?

i wouldnt say these are decent because the EQing on this is pretty bad. are you even using acapellas? you cant take elements out of a song its impossible, so you should be downloading acapellas.

of course you wont find every song you want and it kinda limits you. but it'll make ur mixes sound way cleaner since you're only getting the vocals of one song and putting it onto the beat of another. all your mixes are clashing together because the instrumentals just dont fit with eachother.

be sure the key of the acapella matches the key of the instrumental ... how do you do this? using your ear (optional: a guitar, piano, or a program that detects key for you - even though these programs aren't 100% reliable)

and pay super close attention to beatmatching ...

everybody does mash-up nowadays, and it's hard to make something new and original
cut up acappelas, edit, fx, whatever, try to make as much your own as possible

I liked Love in this Rocket and Lesson Learned Float On the best.
Again, just try to find acapellas and instrumentals rather than trying to use just the EQ in Virtual DJ; although in some of them it added a nice touch in the back.

By mixes you mean DJ mixes or just mash-ups?

It's kinda hard to judge mixes because it's mainly up to the muisc that is played (although the technical aspect plays a great role) and we all know music taste is subjective ...
