second, this isn't even a little comparable to 10s, 12s, doubles or even triples.
I don't think anyone yet has said that would be lame if somebody got a loop rail. There seems to be something of a general agreement however that it's stupid to build that and encourage skiers to do it because of the risk factor. If you fly off of that rail upside down, which is almost guaranteed at least once if not more before you get it, you could break your neck or back in a second, let alone all the other bones there are to break. Sick to grease? absolutely, but it's also stupid to encourage our athletes to go out and do something like that. If someone thinks they can do, let them take initiative and make one, but as an industry we shouldn't build one to encourage athletes to try it.
