unnatural

I learned doing rails right foot foward and now i started doing them left foot foward. When i spin i spin right, does this make the way I learned to slide unnatural, or is it my natural way cause I learned it that way?

right foot forward is natural and spinning to ur left hang side(count clockwise) is natural

whichever way ur used to it, and most comfortable with is natural for u. for me, i spin to the right, and jib w/ my left foot forward. so it depends on the skier

yeah well that means u grind unnattural and spin unnatural so yeah u either spin natural and grind natural or spin unnatural and grind unnatural nothing mixed so yeah

there is no predefined 'natural' or 'unnatural'. it's different for everybody... look at skogen or eric pollard. for some people, railslides are natural with the right foot forward, but for some, like tanner, left foot forward is natural. it differs from skier to skier. you cannot universally define natural as 'left-spinning' or 'right-foot forward' because for a lot of people it is the other way around.

no idiot thats means tanner grinds unnatural and other with right foot forward are natural get it?

and it sux judges dont no it so u have to grind both ways in a comp to show that u can do both

yea look at Boronowski, the kid can throw unnatural switch 7's like nothing.

Its kinda confusing trying to see which side is someone's good side especially when they are good at spinning and sliding rails both ways. Anyway if you have talent and its easy for you to do both go win some comps for me, the judges love that shit.

naty and unnaty is determained by each individual skier. however, I feel that in order to be good in the future people are going to have to be able to spin/slide both ways regrdless. perhaps the natural unnatural thing will go away and it will just be left or right, or if you prefer frontside or backside. look at snowboarding there isn't a natural or unnatural it is either frontside or backside, and if you can't go both ways in snowboarding you don't have as good of a chance to win comps or beat the other guy in getting picked up by companies.
