Line mastermind

looking for some more info on the masterminds if anyone has any. do u think they will be able to take rail abuse? how stiff are they going to be? will they even be legit enough for serious park riding?

They are Lines all mountain price point ski. How much park vs rest of the mountain do you ski? Do you like softer or stiffer skis?

The description above is very good.  Im not sure if the mastermind would take the rail abuse the afterbangs would. Afterbangs are really close in price so i would just go for those. . Also if you want a stiff ski go for the chronic maybe. If your spending more than 50-60% in the park I think you should get a different ski than the mastermind.

i prolly spend 60% of my time in the park, so i guess the afterbangs would b better, another quick question though, i hear ppl say that it is easier to grind with longer skis and i dont really understand why, i would think that a smaller ski would b easier because it would b lighter and easier to manuever. any help would b great, thanks

The idea that longer skis are better is because you will have more balance. A short ski would be easy to spin with and stuff but could be a bit unstable.  I would say it is mostly preference though. Post your height and weight and a bunch of people on here could give you opinions on what size you should get. For reference I am 5'9 135 and I got 177 afterbangs.

they arent but they way close. line rep said it was a good 1 finger back or dead center mounted ski. and for the OP get the chronics i hear they are a great ski.

AR6 would be my first choice.

but if you are set on line, then the chronics wouldn't be too bad either.

we got the masterminds in the shop i work in and afer checking them out, i though they felt very similar to the invader, they might be a touch wider, but they felt very soft to me.  I bet they would make a fun park ski if you like softer skis.
