Bethel, Maine

So my parents speak of moving. They want somewhere close to home (Upst-h8 new york), and I want somewhere with dope ass skiing. Is bethel my place, or what?

is maine your only option? maine isnt that close to upstate NY. NH and VT and even other parts of NY are nicer and are closer to better skiing.

Well, its not my only option. They said no vermont, and couldnt come up with a reason why.

So yeah, anywhere in new england, even other parts of ny, are good.

bethel is really sick. it's 5 minutes away from sunday river and like an hour away from portland, which, if you haven't been to already, you will find very fun. i would totally move to bethel. plus, there's hella cool people here. :)

hahaha i remember a thread from a long long time ago this kid being in bethel and there was a group of kids doing hood rat shit and causing trouble or whatever. then somehow people figured that it was the dumont and his cronies bringing the ruckus. then the ensuing argument was half of the people calling him a tool and the other half sticking up for him being a tool because hes THE dumont. no offense if you are from there, this thread just reminded me of that...

mike spits truth. bethel sucks unless you are skiing. move close to where Loon and Waterville Valley are. but if its your only option...

definitaly loon/waterville area. plymouth is pretty a pretty fun place and loon probably has the funnest park ever

i ski at sunday river. i think you'd probably be better near mt snow. i hear its a lot better than SR, but hey if you end up in bethel holler.

Bethels not bad their park depends of the season rails are always good but can get sticky jumps are either top notch or horrid. Bethel is a very pretty little town with a fair amount of wealth (in terms of Maine) Also theirs Gould Academy in Bethel so lots of young people about, Id say its one of the better towns is maine Portland is dope too check it
