A: dealing with the fact that you are the only one on the mountain with skis and the persistent heckling and stupid comments you get all day long.


Hiking up the grand staircase on timp isnt hard. This hike is like going to a place you cant even imagine.

The views before bed of what was to be skied in the morning, these arent hard to take in at all.

Waking up in the morning isnt hard at all. Thats when the lighting is the best.

Taking in the view of emerald lake from the top. We spent the night down there, thats also where the skiing ends. Taking in this view is easier than staying warm last night.

Looking down at this with ski boots on NOT HARD. my motherships helped me alot, the snow was tough but i could easily charge all the way to the lake, getting even a few good carves. ski to lake pack up camp head home.

14 mile round trip hiking boots on skis and boots on my pack. about 800 vertical skied. deffenately worth it.
