so for this year i am wondering what new skis and boots i should get. im thinking for skis salomon suspects, because last year i had thrusters and i really like them. or armada AR6s, but im looking for a cheap price so i dont know what to do.

then for boots should i get salomon SPK kaos 2009/2010 or should i pay the extra to get the pro model?

first off, suspects are garbage compared to thrusters, so get AR6s, and second, get what fits you best and what flex you need

edges are bad to start with for some people, and the 'edge armour" I think just hurts a large part of edge instead of the small part if would have been.

and DON'T BUY BOOTS BECAUSE THEY ARE POPULAR!
do you have super fatty feet?  If not SPKs are probably not for you.  Try before you buy(with boots).

I have the salomon suspect skies, and many of my friends, included me, has problems with the edges.. and all the damage happend on rails.. so next time i'm buying new skis, I'll not buy salomon..

And about the SPK pro model, i have it, and LOVE it.. it's the greatest boots i've tried.. soo, i think u should pay more for the pro model !!

why get new skis for so much money on new skis (like 600 $) when you can preorder some on3p jeronimo (400$) or blue steel (345$)

Because you have them and love them he should pay that much for a boot that he will maybe don't like. If he does not need a real stiff boot I don't think it is worth paying for them when you can get the kaos or the kreation for much cheaper. Like everyone will tell you got to a store and try them cause everyones feet are different so thats your best way to know which boots to buy.

i had the 09 suspects and i had a problem with my edges and couldnt ski them but i now have the 2010 suspects and im hoping they will be better the edges look a little more rounded on top so i hope it will help

i got the 2010 pro model, havent skied them yet but i hvent took them off, they feel like heaven

if you dont end up going with salomon boots, check into full tilt, i have the 09 booters and its like skiing on pillows

are the suspects good for jumps and pipe at all? im not too worried about edges because i dont ski rails a whole bunch so...

and on the boots, does anyone here who has full tilts ever get shin bang or toe bang? cause the new SPK boots has that system that makes it look like youd never get shin/tow bang
