Skiing on tv

so i don't know about you guys, but i've kinda always thought having a tv channel for skiing on tv would be awesome. more coverage of events, they could play ski movies and edits that are really popular right now, or something like that. i know there's the ski channel or whatever it's called, but i mean one that's actually on a tv channel. i know it's probably not a profitable idea, but i still would love having this

I saw an advertisement for the ski channel in a magazine, and on the bottom where it showed associated production companies, Level 1 was on there. That got me stoked, bu i don't get that channel.

its called The Ski Channel.  Pay the cable man a few more dollars and get this at your home.

every year i go to vail theres this awsome channel with skiing and snowboarding.  sometimes this guys with a glen plake haircut hosts it.  i dont remember the name of it.  it might be rsn

yup watched that shit daily in steamboat id kill for that in my house. but on one of nbc side stations during the winter they play 24 7 ski racing and jumping its better than nothing plus i love it when they crash going 80

yea that's rsn. they have it at many places not just vail. i was watching this winter and head for the hills came on, i hadnt seen it yet and was stoked! they didnt place the whole movie though just 4-5 segments.

RSN is awesome, i just wish that was everywhere you know? i live in CT and we don't have that channel here. but reel thrills, the show Glenn Plake hosts, is awesome

Move up to Sandpoint, ID.

24/7/365 there's the "Sandpoint Fun Guide"/Ski Flakes Channel. Locally produced, locally filmed -- all at Schweitzer. While it's not great, there are some hilarious segments and it's worth watching just for the (local) ads.
