Soooo close!!

New bill in the state senate by Assemblyman Tom Ammiano!

Everyone email or call your local news agencies or editors especially you guys in California! Let's really get the ball moving on this one. If enough people start talking about it, this bill will get passed! More than half the citizens in CA support the bill, polls show. So lets all write to national and CA editors, add comments to every page!

I was reading that article yesterday. Some other states ideas for budget increases are just ridiculous. Hopefully this passes in CA and starts to spread to other states.

good luck and stuff, although who knows if any other states will follow your lead if it goes through. colorado probably will.

yall also need to work on repealing your assault weapons bans, it's sad you live in a state where you cant just walk into a store and walk out 20 minutes later with an AR15...like i did yesterday

it was a real victory for civil liberties

Not to sound like a terrible person but this is what I've been hoping and dreaming about for a year. I knew that California was a key. The only way anything would get done about cannabis is if the economy was is such a dismal state they were willing to try anything.

Everyone do anything you can! This could be one of the most influential pieces of legislation ever.

in all honesty I beileve Cali is making it harder for other states to get it legalized. Cali is in a shit hole of problems right now, and lets face it, doesn't look all so good right now.

the shithole of problems are the results of a decade off overspending by the state government and obliviously riding the dotcom boom well after its bust.

but if weed solves htose problems then that would be huge for other states.

Exactly, every social model that has been produced from legalization or decriminalization of marijuana has shown that the benefits far outweigh negative impact.
