the video section gets no where near the amount of hits as posting in the ski gabber. so, i agree cperin, not every edit should be posted in the gabber, but

this edit was tight, and i didnt have to sort through a million edits to see something decent, so if an edit is good, it will survive on the ski gabber, if not then it belonged in the vid section. furthermore, if an edit is worth talking about, than it belongs in ski gabber, the only problem is that people post about where the video belongs, or whether its a repost. discuss the tricks in the edit, the style, the camera angles, anything other than searchbar or vid section....

now, the edit was sick, you could tell you were just taking runs, not filming the same trick all day like most pros. thats where you earned respect. staying positive, you can tell your skiing is not as good as your jibbing. for example you wedged while skiing switch.

do you guys like the editing. Isn that what you said was the reason people posted on the ski gabber. to get insights into the art of filming and editing....

but yeah we just would roll through the park and I would just film everthing we could and then we put it all together at the end of the season. I only got to film with him for a couple weeks but he was always banging out hammers everday. must be the hippy in the kid.

well art in terms of putting it all together. you don't consider editing an art form? I know this isnt something you would see on a surface web page but i guess every edit out there is a piece of art in a way. Editing is just mapping out a puzzle of experience and putting it together in hopes of making one potentially stimulating piece of work. You can't deny that editing doesn't involve creativity. But really I didn't post this video to get into the deeper frame works of the editing process or the philosophy of what art is I just wanted to get my buddy some play at a large audience

You don't need a PHD to recognize when someone is being pretentious and elitist, though I do have a psych degree and I've worked as a group counselor with young adults with substance abuse/dual diagnosis issues. Sooo....

The only thing lamer than a 16 year old kid with an airbrushed biggie tee lapping the terrain park, is the kid that feels better about himself by making sure other people know that he knows that the other kid is lame.

Hmm....interesting.

Often, dreams involving personal injury symbolize general anxiety. In this case, I find the fact that the injury is literally a result of "coming up short" to be of singular importance and indicative of a crippling fear of failure that may accompany "taking the leap".

Perhaps you're on the cusp of a significant life change (i.e. career change, marriage proposal, relocating, etc.) and your concerned that it won't work out?

The fact that you woke from the dream actually sporting a pair of broken ankles, could mean any number of things. Here's a couple of thoughts:

1. Maybe you broke your ankles in some other far less spectacular fashion, and you "woke" from a morphine induced nod. Look around....are you in a gown? Do you smell bleach? Is some woman in a red and white striped get up constantly coming and going; often after having collected your poo from a steel bed pan?

2. You live on Elm Street and your folks burned an alleged child molester/murderer alive, and your dreams have become, ahem, lucid.

3. You have some sort of bizarre obsession with T Hall and/or a megalomania/narcissistic personality disorder coupled with some sort of psychosis resembling schizophrenia—with a twist of delusions of grandeur—that has caused you to intentionally break your own ankles, and then create a complicated scenario of how it actually happened.
