Markers?

i really want to start using markers in drawings but theyre so fucking expensive. i heard chartpak markers are pretty sick. does anyone use them? also does anyone know where to get some for cheap?

They look like a cheaper version of those other markers that I can't think of the name right now...

But I've used some, and if you get close enough colors you can get an almost perfect color fade, which is always sick

What kind of art/drawing are you looking at doing? Cause it always helps to know the sub-genre

They look like prisma markers.  I've never used them though- I've only used sharpies and  La Plume markers made by marvy i think.  they're for stamps but they're not too bad- at joann's or michael's craft stores

If they're like prismas then they should be good, I've used prismas before and when you get a fade it looks sick, just watch how much you put on cause they dry a little bit lighter as most due, but for prismas the suttle change takes a little longer than most markers

Great quality though, you can't go wrong with em

I mean I set of those and a set of Deco colors for outlining etc and your set!

i have some prismas they are nasty but yes that are a little pricy

Prisma Pencils are nice, and just like their markers- its all a bit pricey, but you're getting quality
