Line Elizabeths

Hey Guys,

Im looking at the Line Elizabeths, and I would like your opinion.

Im not a crazy skier, but i like to jump, butter, and goof off. I LOVE pow, and and all mountain skiing. I want to keep my budget cheap, and there are some 2008's Line Lizzies for about $250 at a local shop. Im 5' 8', and im looking at something I can grow into (Even though I may not grow any more). There 172's, and I think im going to jump on it. I need your guys opinion.

first, lizzies are not pow skis, so they will not be as good as something like SFB's in deep snow.  second, 172 is on the short side for someone who is 5'8".  you would be much better off on something a little longer for all mountain, pow, and even park

if you won't grow taller than 5'8 then these are perfect skis for you. if you are going to grow then SFBs are the better option

he lives in the south west, so hes talking about 10-20 inches, not waist or anything. i would say they are good for that depth.

if your aim is pow and all mountain don't do it.  Get something longer.  Even at your height 172 is pretty damn short for anything but park, where you still could go longer.  If you want something that will do well in pow but kill it all mountain, maby 182 Czars?  If you will be skiing switch much and want a all mtn ski that works in pow those or Shoguns could be good.  For you I would say a good all mountain ski should be in the low 180s, and even longer if you ski fast a hard the whole time you are on the mountain.

how are these too short? he is gonna be spending slight time in the pow so insanely long skis will leave him feeling awkward in the park. seriously these skis will already be taller than he is so i dont see how they are on the short side. the lizzies were made in one size for one reason that is the vast majority of adult skiers looking for a fun fat ride fit the build for lizzies. sure a person who is 6'2 or 6'3 might not like em but  lizzies are great for anyone under 6'0.

i ride mine everday and they are awesome... im your size too. dont let people tell you they are too short, the width makes up for it, and they are bomb ass all mountain skis, let me tell you



i am in tahoe tho...

THANK YOU! seriously this is exactly what i wanted to say except i couldn't say it like that. i have 171 anthems and they are mid-upper forehead on me. OP is my freind and so i know for a fact I'm a little taller, so they will be exactly his height. i don't understand how another 10cm would do him any good, as everyone else is trying to say, unless hes using for strictly pow. lastly, hes already taller or as tall as his parents so I'm thinking hes not going to easily grow enough to grow out of them.
