i looked at some 08/09 ar6's in my size today and they were a good deal. not sure if i wanna buy em. they were fatter then other skis i've had (scratches, butterlicious, & urban punx) and they were heavier than all of them i think so they kind of scared me a little.

does everyone that has/had them like them? are they good for buttering? are they actually pretty light?


what's a good light binding to go along with them these days? it's been awhile since i've thought about skiing gear.

i have the 07 08 ar6's and i love them to death. They are extremely easy to butter once you break them in(which some runs) They hold up really good all around the mountain and are also really good in the park. Rails are jumps are soo much fun with them. Such a good ski, very buttery.

I had 07/08's for a season and a half and i loved em, super fun ski and i ski mostly park, the only reason i wont be buying them again is because i want somthing symmetrical.

mine 08/09's literally just came in yesterday..

just get em, ive spent months and months looking for the right ski (light, buttery but is torsionally stiff so you can still hit jumps and go real fast without chatter, durable) and these were the ones EVERYONE reccomended and said you couldnt go wrong with them

sorry i cant actually give a personal skiing experience with them...

i never had them ut ive only heard good things about them. Ive wanted them a while ago and did a ton of research on thm and they seem like a really good ski. id go for it.

AR6's are by far the best ski I've ridden so far. The nose is pretty soft so butters are easy, but the tail is stiff (not to stiff that you can't tail butter) so that you don't blow out on landings. They don't feel as heavy as they are when you ski then. And the width is nice cause you can take them anywhere, from the park to groomers to even about a foot of snow. The bases are practically indestructible, and the edges are rock solid. If you found a good deal you should go for it for sure.
