SO.... I was thinking about the CD's I've picked up recently and I havn't been really thrilled with most of the songs on them. There is usually 2 or 3 good songs with the rest just crap. One CD that is good from beginning to end is the new one from Evanescence. I listened to it skiing yesterday and kept me pumped up for a long time.
Does anyone konw What I'm talking about? Can anyone name some more CD's that are good start to finish? Is this just a conspiracy by the music industry to keep us buying CD's when we can get their stuff on the web for free?

Considering I rip off the music industry and burn CDs, I don't really know, I only buy Cds from indy bands who need the cash. Everything I've bought by In Medias Res has been awesome, but unless you live in vancouver and can get to Zulu Records downtown, it'd be hard to get.

If you're buying a cd because you think the chick who sings is hot, you're better off buying the poster, or playboy when she inevitably poses in it. At least she's naked that way, and let's face it, that's what you really wanna see.

Yeah - I'm liking Deja Entendu just now. I heard Brand New about one and a half years ago but dismissed them as another pretty average band. But I picked up that album a few weeks ago and it's awesome. Track 2 is such an amazing song.
